Expressive Arts Therapy has proven to be extremely beneficial in 90% of the cases, yet is not as accessible for many. In a survey done on campus 60% weren't aware of what art therapy was and out of the remaining, 20% didn't feel like they had access to it. With spending the majority of the time on the computer, sometimes a light scribble takes the trick of decreasing stress. The website is an attempt to be able to provide people a brief overview and few quick activities.
The website creates a tool that allows users to gain a quick insight on the why & how of Art Therapy. The 3 main interactions (draw.js, sound.js, circles.js) are supposed to elicit feelings that once may feel after engaging in an art therapy exercise. The idea being that a user spends some time doing a repetitive movement till they calm themselves down. Such a tool is meant for anyone whose have a stressful day and wants to quickly just play with some tools.

The initial prototypes were heavily iterated on for the final design. The focus on the final design was to just spend some time scribbling on the the screen and then have more of the serious information as they scroll down if they decide to. I tested the product with 10 people over the course of designing, each had a different opinion, however one common theme was the excitement to be able to see to be able to just scribble. The interactive aspect was key the project.
